What's New in Missouri State Parks...
Katy Trail Bike Ride - Sponsored by the Missouri State Parks Foundation and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources
Experience a five-day, four-night 225-mile bicycle tour on the nation's longest developed rail-trail in the nation, Katy Trail State Park. Bicyclists on the 2008 ride, (dates to be determined), will average 45 miles per day and travel from St. Charles to Clinton. The ride is limited to 300 full tour riders. Camping Reservations
Camping reservations can now be made up to six months in advance with the centralized reservation system. Be sure to make your reservations for Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Fathers Day well in advance. Reservations can now be made at 11 more state parks and sites including; Arrow Rock State Historic Site, Big Lake, Crowder, Graham Cave, Long Branch, Lewis and Clark, Onondaga Cave, Pershing, Robertsville, Thousand Hills and Wallace state parks. This brings the total number of reservable campsites in the system to 2,350.
